Hello frens

Contact Akai for the internal drive restoration file.
After restoring, never use the default internal drive again.
Ignore that its there.

"unhide" all Folders

Most of your bulk is either Hidden Project Folders and Splice Folders(if you have splice)

Do Not Delete any Pre-Loaded Content

After you Clean it up a lil, Save EVERYTHING from here forward to either a SD Card, USB Stick, Or purchase and SSD/Hard Drive in the bottom of your Live!

Going forward anything made by inmusic brand ignore the built in storage like lamp said . Overall it's just a marketing bullet point.

when u delete the projects it may not necessarilly delete all the related wavs; so u might have to go thu and start deleting waves; I had to spend about a week intermittently, deleting files to free up space but I had my live since 2017

In the browser select the settings cog wheel in the upper right and uncheck „hide project folders“.

i cant find any waves or samples from the browser, neither the settings. i might need to update the MPC first since its not updated, it has firmware 2.9.1

This not entirely true. When a project is deleted, none of the wavs/sequences/programs are deleted, ever. So simply deleting the project (.xpj file) does not free up much space at all.

The data mentioned above is stored in a hidden folder alongside the project file. If your project is named Bernard, there will be a hidden folder named [Bernard_Data]. This must be deleted along with the project file itself.

You should pop on over to mpc-tutor.com and read some of the articles there, lots of good info about this and other topics.

on the left margin of the browser the default is 'my files' you will need to select 'samples' to see all the waveforms
