So, do you scroll through hundreds of kits instead of samples then?

For example say you have a beatbutcha drum kit pack. You make it into a kit. You load up that kit (program) and then scroll through the sounds of the kit. right? Whats the difference between scrolling through the sounds in a loaded program vs just through the browser?

I never understood the concept of kits or expansions. My OCD strikes.

But I did buy kit maker a week or so ago to convert the MPC and NI expansions into Drum Racks. It wasn't as smooth as I wished for, and I did have to manually fix a few things. But overall, saves a lot of time.

Trying to get into that wokflow and actually build a library instead of just having a sheer amout of sounds to scroll through.

You can see the update here. I will also message all current users about the update once the coming update has been made.

And btw, the pc version doesn't seem to work. Downloaded the beta twice. Wasn't able to open the .zip file. Used 7zip, extracted, error.

Kit Creator is exactly what I was searching for. It took just a few minutes to learn how to use it. Every kitpiece is precisely where I want it. I have been struggling to use another app (Kitmaker) but it takes so much time to get everything filed and set properly and there is no way to get the precision of Kit Creator. before you released Kit Creator I had even reached out to the dev of the other app to see if he had more precision in his plans, since that is what people seem to want around here. I expect a Ride to be on Pad 12. That's where I reach, and I don't want to hear a Guiro!
I hope you sell a lot of these so new features will be on the roadmap. I sure would love multiple samples per pad, round robin etc. but I'm really glad with what I have already. Thanks!

I'm also wondering if this supports the MPC 3000. I can already create pretty good kits for my LIVE II in the MPC software, but I'm still looking for something that works like the MPC program and floppy creator that I was able to use 10 years ago to do this for my MPC3000.
