New MPC, 2.11.10, Can not Activate Plugins

Never had any issues downloading and activating plugins. Don't know or understand why few talk about it. Of course on forums you never get completed RCAs but thats not my beer.

To be fair, the OP who created this thread solved their issue 3 months ago (it was the old Time Zone bug). Maybe mods should close this thread?

MPC 3 and I now have this issue on MPC X. Never had this in the 5 or so years I have used this thing. Now it t happens every week and last night, I just couldn't activate my plugins....

I hope there is no issue with quoting myself. I saw some mentions about DNS server related issues and resetting Wi-Fi etc ....rather than reset my Wi-Fi as I am currently working, I thought to hotspot my MPC to my phone instead and my plugins have activated fine so I will be resetting my Wi-Fi later tonight. Thought this might help somebody in future.

Is it not possible to work on the newer MPCs without them being connected periodically, over some time period? My older MPCOne (no WiFi) only gets connected when I need to (like, hardly ever) and when I can be bothered to run an ethernet cable from the studio to the router. I didn't think this might be a ticking time bomb of turning up to a gig one day and my plugins requiring activation?
It's a problem I experienced with LogicPro iPad so binned that off as a reliable sequencer in favour of running sequencer apps within AUM.
