Unassigning Pads Error

I'm seeing a weird error where the samples are being unassigned from the pads. Once it was while I was working on something, and I tried some undo, but couldn't fix it so had to return to a previous save. Then I load some older projects, like a few months, and those pads were also unassigned. The samples were there on the sample assign screen. And weirdly enough despite this the sequence sill played properly.

So is this a known glitch? Is it possible I hit a button that caused this.

Believe I am on the latest firmware and it is very likely that the old projects were done on the latest firmware, but haven't checked because I might drive myself crazy.

Please let me know your thoughts.

Thanks. I'm not getting the question marks. Just the pads are empty in the sample assigned screen. I think it self resolved.

Had something similar before with samples containing special characters in the filename like =%@"*/-

No worries, we've all done something similar, I still do stuff like that especially when I'm tired. Respect for coming back to admit it
