I was going to cook something interesting but it would appear inmusic has *fixed* it so i cant launch anything else through that method.. i had kmscon working a while back and that was handy but i was thinking id set up a program or script in place of the test app to search my github for new mpc / force bin (software updater) but it didnt work nor does kmscon now. To hell with it.

jaymack sorry bud i shoulda addressed you in the last post. give it a try bud. its the unit calibration mode, lets you test out all your buttons and knobs, touch screen, wifi, and io stuff. its nothing special but it is a hand menu if you have weird issues with the device serial number not showing up properly in the settings menu. the reserialization process takes place there as well. :)

i dunno it looks like it's changed compared to previous versions. perhaps? if it lets you into a menu where it shows a diagram of your mpc and shows info propigated as you hit buttons.

Previous version:

Possibly but the machine gathers the serial number from the processor information its actually the serial number of the cpu. it will always reserialize with the same id or should.
