New User!!! Wanna buy MPC3K OR 4K

Reading loads of your posts about 3k and 4k machines and wanna know whats the best MPC out there!!!!

I've saved about 1400 uk pounds and can see that the 3kLE goes for around 1200/1300 and 4K goes for around 900 to 1000 Second Hand.

Questons!!!
1) Why is the 3k More money when its a older machine.
2) Does it sound better or something.
3) It the 4000 the lick now
4) Whats this groove that people say the 3k has.

Any help would be great.....dont wanna buy the wrong MPC

1) 3k is not more expensive
2) define "better"

4) dunno.. its you that make the groove

the MPC3k is def more expensive on the second hand market right now

why is that ?

'cos it's almost a "classic" machine

some say it has a better groove than other MPCs and the sound is warmer and stronger on the lower frequencies (basses)

I personnaly dunno anything about all this as I ve never tried the 3000, all I know is that I have a 4000 and that it does the job very well

Not inhere.. MPC3000 go for 1000 - 1200 euros/ usd. A new 4k is 1900 with no options, so must be around 1500 used
