flying with the X

Anyone had any experience good/bad with bringing the X on a plane as carry-on baggage?

I’ve carried on 2kxl and 4k before, zero problems.
For X I’d use a deck saver to protect the front.

Yes I have the decksaver and one of those magma padded (not so) hard cases. Still feel it could have a rough time…

You brought the 4K on as hand luggage?! Wish I’d thought of that. I had a really heavy flight case for it. Ton weight, mostly needed two people to bring it any distance. I ran out of people willing to help eventually…!

Yeah, on separate trips I carried on 2kxl nd 4k. I had travel cases back then but I didn’t trust the system. I wanted to personally carry them.
Backpack, mpc.
No bumps, no bruises, no broken parts.

I fly regularly with my Live 2 without any problem. Decksaver and foam in hard case.
But, at leat for Live 2, be ready to open your case at the security gates. They always wanted to see what it was. May be because of the battery.

Good to know. For anyone else contributing to this thread can we keep it to the X please - its size is the specific issue I’m concerned with… thanks.
