New Force 3.2.6 OS Update is out

The OS 326 is, out but no note on it, so I don't know what's different:

The webpage is still offering 3.2.4.

Let us all know when you find out what, if anything, is new?

Edited: OK, I see it now under the downloads. But the update links on the page still lead to 3.2.4 so I assume that they forgot to update those.

Given no update notes, it rather feels like a last-minute move?

It feel like they want to take quick dump before the 4th of July. A beta tester on another site said with was stability & performance tweaks. It crashed but when I went to save but it still saved my first. So I guess that means it counts for stability & performance tweaks... kinda

Stability and performance enhancements.

Known issues for this release:

The following issues have been confirmed by Akai Professional to be present in this and previous versions of Force firmware. We are actively working on a resolution to these issues.

• Some tempo-synced effects can drift off tempo following tempo change or Ableton Link sync.

• In some cases, MIDI note-off messages can be sent to the wrong MIDI channel when received from multiple sources simultaneously.

Yup, the debuggening continues!

This is good news, to me. Whatever future features they may or may not bring to the party, a stabler machine is better.

Oh yeah! Especially with a 4 year old device that's been under promoted, under appreciated & misunderstood.

Not with MPC heads stuck in the 90s. It will probably be loved by people coming from other devices looking into the MPC & and finding out about the Force & judging it objectively.

I think you're right about that.

There's a part of me that likes having a machine with neat capabilities that's off the radar of many musicians, kind of gives me an edge and makes my creation process different, resulting in different art.

But there's a much bigger part of me that wants the Force to not go end-of-life, and continue to be supported and thriving, with plenty more firmware updates to come!

I wonder what the stability and performance improvements are, if they're not even worth describing. Too embarrassing to say?

The fact that Akai is working updates for is a good sign that they didn't abandon their stepchild & that there could be a mk2 that doesn't feel like a side project that happen to become its most powerful device & has damn tilt screen & tempo/time-signature changes. Game changer!

That's exactly it... La Force is less known than MPCs but allows for a more affordable workflow than MPCs, and therefore attracts users of other machines.
I bought an LPC One which discouraged me, I switched to Maschine plus which has an excellent workflow, it's really very pleasant to compose on it, but some hardware limits and Ni no longer updates, so I decided to switch to Force and I'm delighted, it's a little less easy than on M+ but much better than on MPC, and a lot more possibilities in editing visual automations than on M+.
She's with me on vacation with an external battery, it's a pleasure.

Yeah the Force is powerful beast with a horrible PR team. I'm glad you can see the beauty in it. I love the MPC sample engine & the how it organizes them with programs which give you cool way to edit them. My biggest problem with the MPC is making beats with those samples using its sequencer which is cool if you're doing simple Hip-Hop or whatever & or are only using less than 10 sequences. But it get real tedious once you start making more advanced compositions with over 20 sequences. Long story short the Force clip sequencer is waaaaaay better for me.

Anybody know if the 3.2.6 update includes the previous updates? Or, do you have to install them individually in order?
