DrumSynth Multi and external FX

Seems like you found the workaround.. Explode the multi, and replace some or all with singles, free to route however you like.

You have the same issue with programs. To get around the stereo out issue i set up a controller program and then route the midi to each track.

It’s kinda wonky, so from controller program to kick, kick to snare, snare to hi hat and so on.

This allows you have inserts on each channel and then you can send to a sub bus to gel together, further process the whole kit and it lets you use the sends and returns on each channel

While still having a single place to play all the pads from.

Hope that helps, I don’t use the drum synth much but sounds like a similar problem.

Probably not much use to you, but if you switch to controller mode you can run around 30 instances of drum synth multi before the MPC Software craps out on you (stopped emitting audio for me). Might be CPU or memory related rather than a hard limit.
