Really unfortunate that there is no possibility of transferring the MPC screen to a larger screen (computer screen style).
Do you think that Akai could install an HDMI port in a future MPC?
This could really be an interesting option.

actually rev1 boards do have a HDMI header onboard, rev2 boards have this header replaced with additional usb3 - I suppose it gives nothing but terminal screen though.

It would have been really nice if there was a hdmi port on every board and the hdmi mirrored the e-dp or vice versa...
i wonder about the x's hdmi, apparently a few of them have the port in place, might be a matter of cooking the right kmods to get it going.
Ego te absolvo.

Thanks a lot for your answers.
Too bad no HDMI port on version 2.
Is there a port on the Mpc X Se that can be used as an HDMI port?
It would really be a plus to have this possibility, but unfortunately not original on the current MPCs and not at all certain that AKAI will face the next MPC with an HDMI port.
