Ok here is the deal.I sampled some sounds in my computer , with the mpc editor i coppy them in a hd disk (with a tape covering the right hole).I power up the mpc 60 and tried to load the contents of the disk. The 60 read the contents but when i tried to load the sounds after a while the following message poped up at the lcd :
"Sorry but a software bug of type 06H caused all memory to be lost. Please write down as much as you can remember of what happened that caused this screen to appear.Call or send this information to your AKAI distibutor"
then the mpc crashed and stayed to that screen.
I tried to perform again the same operation but the same thing happened.
Out of fear for the ram , i tried to sample directly to the 60 , and all was good. Then i tried to save the sampled sound to a disk and all was good.
The problem is when i try to load from the floppy.
I have the mpc 60 for 2 months and i didn't have any problems before.
Another thing that i have to mention is that i changed the room that i keep the mpc 60 and in the last 10 days i keep it in a room that hasn't got any heat so the room is very cold.Additionally i haven't touched the mpc 60 these last 10 days.
Any help would be gratly appreciated cause i don't know what to do.
Thank you in advance.
