Hi! With the MPC Key 61 and Fabric XL instruments loaded on different tracks, can I use the same plugin effects (Distortion Fuzz and Air Amp sim for example) on multiple tracks with different Distortion Fuzz and Air Amp sim settings of course for each track? Also, can I load two different electric guitars from Fabric XL (one Strat guitar and the other Les Paul) on different tracks and pan each guitar differently? For example Strat panned hard left and Les Paul hard right? Thanks!

4 per Pad, 4 per program, 4x8 for submixes, 4 sends, 4 per main out.

Use different programs on trcks.

Hi, Lampdog and thanks for the info! But can I use the same plugin effects (Distortion Fuzz and Air Amp sim for example) on different programs/tracks with different Distortion Fuzz and Air Amp sim settings of course on each program/track? If your mpc will handle two instances of fabric then yes you can and you can apply a different fx chain per audio track or program. if individual lane processing is your thing.

Hi Ultros and thanks for the info but what do you mean by 2 instances of the Fabric? Can't I load just 2 guitars that are included in Fabric XL or have to load whole Fabric XL? Also, can Fabric XL built-in FXs be removed from guitar tracks and replaced with others like Distortion Fuzz and Air Amp sim for example?

2 instances, meaning 2 Fabric’s.

Seq1, Trck1, Fabric1
Seq1, Trck2, Fabric2
They will have nothing to do with each other (total separation).
No swapping out plugin’s effects.

Hi! I am still confused since MPC Tutor in the other thread about Fabric XL said: Just load the instruments you need, it will only take up the memory needed for those specific instruments.
So I can or I can't load just the instruments I need from the Fabric XL, one guitar Strat on track one and the other Les Paul guitar on track two?

Track 1: set as plugin track, select fabric XL, choose a strat patch

Track 2: set as plugin track but press the + program button to create a new plugin program. On this, select fabric XL and choose a les Paul patch

This is what we mean by ‘2 instances of fabric’. Each instance will only use the memory needed to load it’s own specific patch

Hi, B-Wise and thanks so much for the info! Hmm, since you say Studio Strings alone take up about 37% of CPU, I guess the following is not possible?
