It’s available in your inmusic account for now. You have to log in to find it.

Yeah for some reason it doesnt show for me. My software avail to download is the standard 2.12 firmware update link as well as the mpc 2.12 desktop software download link.

Im still looking to see what the release notes even are before downloading, though I cant seem to see where to even download it either in the in music tab.

I have a similar issue not being able to download the inmusic software center as well, can only download the synth content manager so Im not sure if they have different links depending on which mpc model you have installed. Am using a live 2

Apparently the new update introduces new bugs, taken somewhere else on the internet

MPC started to occasionally stop recording MIDI events.

You record as usual, arm track, select plugin, record, play start. You hear sound but no MIDI events are written because record led is still blinking. it doesn't change to solid red light.

After it starts to make problems it never goes back to normal. Save project and reboot MPC.

Seriously Akai, how do you managed to break such basic function. You have no beta testers now?

I didn't update my MPC so I can't tell whether the bug affects all models or not, but if true, it sucks. It should never happen.

Using 2.12.2 I’ve recorded a few beats so far, local with pads and using 2 midi kybds connected, controlling mpc x internal plugins. All midi recorded to mpc x grid perfectly fine without issues.
