Notes cutting off when tapping quickly

Hey all. I am happy about that detail of settings on the MPC One for performability, but it sometimes makes diagnosing a problem complicated.

For instance, I am occasionally getting notes cutting off if I tap short and fast. I imagine it's a double-tap issue with the second tap being too soft to hear, but I'm not sure what aspect of Pad sensitivity would cause this.
Any guesses?
They are all set to MONO polyphony (because I don't want the result of a double-strike to be that the note plays twice on top of itself.)

This is exactly related to the mono pad setting. If you hit a pad (e.g. a crash cymbal) and then follow it with a quiet hit of the same pad your initial cymbal hit is suddenly being muted and replaced with a much quieter version, this will often not sound great . To change the wide dynamic change in volume between hard and soft pad hits, go to 'program edit > modulation' and lower the velocity sensitivity 'AMP' setting to taste (try 64 or lower). Full level will also do away with quiet hits, but this is more restrictive (e.g. it's like a velocity > amp of 0, but doesn't allow for any other velocity sensitivity expression, such as filter or pitch).

Aha! I didn't know about the sensitivity setting in the Modulation page. That is probably what I am looking for. Thanks. Also just now understanding what "Full Level" actually does. My big problem, I think is that I can't find an actual manual for this thing anywhere. The User Guide for all the MPC models does not explain anything about the features. Does an actual manual exist? Thanks.
