Hi, I purchased a START/STOP pedal from stepaudio.net (ONCE TRICK PONY) in the hope of starting a song on the fly on my MPC One. Unfortunately I haven't found any way to get the desired result. I tried contacting the manufacturer, but no response. Does anyone own this pedal and can give me an instruction? Thank you a lot.

I bought one of their custom program pedals for my Nord G2 once, it uses a strange combination of cc's to start and stop the sequencer. It never worked well. For the MPC, you need something that sends MMC start and stop commands. And of course MMC needs to be enabled on the instrument.

Edit: I just looked at their page for that product, it is misleading at best. Instruments that respond only to MIDI start-stop, without expecting clock, are going to be few and far between. The MPC certainly does not work that way.
