Arp on samples

Hi.
Is it possible to use the arpeggiator of a sample program?

I'm using a Live 2 and I saw a guy doing a Four Tet style track on the Force but he was using the arpeggiator on chopped samples.

Pretty sure you can only use it on keygroups..

It won't work on a drum program, so you'll have to manually assign each chopped sample to its own keygroup within a keygroup program

I've tried this but every time I put a sample slice onto a pad, it fills all the other pads up with the same sample.

How do I assign each sample to each pad?

Yet another limitation that makes no sense in 2023. ARP and Note repeat should be unified under a single system, there is no reason to have 2 different systems, and settings should be per track, not global, but this is at the bottom of the list of what is wrong with the MPC Line...

One work-around is simply to create a MIDI track and route it to a Drum Program. Then you can enable ARP on the MIDI track without having to use Keygroup Programs.
