When syncing my MPCKey61 via Midi Clock to Logic Pro, I ran some tests today that showed just how inconsistent the Midi Clock triggering is on the MPC. I was hoping they had fixed the previous issues with their midi drift, but I guess not. It's arguably better than my old 2500 in this regard. The 2500 was off-time on every pass, but it was consistently off. The MPCKey is off in varying amounts of time with every pass. It won't trigger at the same time, every time. The screenshot from my DAW shows that the start time of each track is never the same twice. Get it together Akai.

MIDI Clock has always been iffy, and nowadays it seems like most of the devs don't remember what MIDI was heh. Use MTC and it should be a lot 'tighter' and consistent. MIDI Clock is pretty sloppy by nature, that's why Cubase won't let you sync it externally to MIDI Clock, only MTC.
