Probably not possible but thought I’d ask anyway (I could easily be overlooking something).

When sampling, is there a way to capture specific lengths? Eg. Exactly 64 bars

I know there is the looper but that only goes to 16 bars. Currently, I’m recording longer sections and letting the recording go on a bit more than needed, then bouncing the track to get the specific length. This isn’t always convenient though (having to mute other pads/disable fx slots etc). Is there a more efficient way to do this? I guess I could crop the sample on an audio track but that’s still an extra step, plus I then have to clear the audio track after using it.

Hmm, audio tracks it is then. Dividing the tempo is a clever idea but it will affect the midi clock I think, will be useful sometimes though.

Thanks for chiming in! :worthy:
