mpc and reason

Is there a way to incorporate the mpc 2000xl to reason. i would like to use the synths on reason while using the mpc. i have a powerbook and a midi to usb interface. is this possible?

Yes! You can slave one to the other via MIDI time code. I slave my laptop to the MPC, but you can easily go the other way too. You'll just have to adjust the latency on the computer since they will not lock exactly on to the same tempo due to the computer's delay.

Edit: for some reason I thought you were talking about Live, but I'm pretty sure that reason is configured for midi I/O.. at least if not directly in reason, you could through rewire.
