I'm in trial mode for the Stage Piano and Stage EP plugins and have noticed that the presets for these take MUCH longer to load than for any of the other included plugins like Hype, Tubesynth etc. Those load basically instantaneously while Stage plugins can take upwards of 20 seconds or more. Are the these plugins just memory hogs or is there something else going on? It's a bit of a drag for live performance.

Those are just memory hogs.,

Yes, loading times can take that long, especially with the Steinway and Yamaha acoustic pianos.

I personally would not rely on them for a live performance and would go for a good hardware piano instead, but that's just me.

I'm not familiar with that yet but something I'll look into. Thanks.

if it takes more than a second or two its not normal. It should be pretty fast. If not, the drive you have the content is either slow or the file system is starting to go bad orrr the drive itself is weathered.
