New issue started after 3.3 firmware update

Anyone else seeing this? When I go into computer mode, on the PC/Mac side the SSD drive appears for a few seconds, then disappears, then reappears, then disappears, on and on and on... which makes it unusable.

Even worse. My SSD just completely disappeared after about an hour on the new firmware. An "ejected" message popped up and then no more SSD. Reinstalling old firmware didn't help. Reinstalling 3.3.0 didn't help. Drive doesn't even show up in computer mode in partition editor. It's just... gone. Time to pull the drive and see if it is dead. What did 3.3.0 do... sigh....

Well. Good news. The drive is not dead. Connecting to it to a Windows box popped up a dialog that there was a problem with the drive. Scanned it and no issues found. Will pop it back into the Force after I see if the Force can see just a regular sd card. Will update this thread with results.

Good news. Pulling the drive and running the Windows scan on it. (Or maybe it was just pulling it and reinstalling it did it) but likely it was the Windows scan for errors that helped it...

Sd Card reads fine. And Internal SSD now shows up on the Force again as well.

Now to fix all the plugins... sigh... remind me to back up my samples and projects more often and before firmwares...

This must be a bug with this new release. I downloaded the 3.3 firmware over wifi and then my SSD disappeared, too ! I reset the peferences twice and still wasn't there. I couldn't download the new content. Then I chose "CHANGE" at the right of the screen and then chose the SSD installed, and then it showed up and all was good. Weird.

I followed all the steps according to YouTube instructions and the official manual.

When connected via USB, the disk is recognized on the computer, but not in the Force itself. I tried everything recommended on the forum. What can you advise?

What SSD is it & how did you format it?
Also, do you have another SSD to test?
