Black Friday Sales

FYI, I got 10% off of the MPC One+ at Guitar Center. I had to request it via the online chat however. They are about the only retailer that has the unit in stock at the moment.

10% off is the norm from guitar center.. they gave the same deal when I bought my X in 2018..

these are the "deals" people wait all year for !?

That works with lots of things at Guitar Center. Every time I buy a guitar I make them take money off because 1. That things been on the wall for who knows how long, and 2. They usually by that time have lost the gig bag/case and all the other crap its supposed to come with. Probably wont go very far with pedals and little gadgets, but anything big like that, you've got wiggle room to come down in price, and they can surely do it too. I got $200 off my Live so he could 'make it work' with the credit limit on my GC card back then (I can buy two of em now thanks to my credit rating on it).

I remember when I bought my first Telecaster at the one in Oxnard in 2004, I asked the guy 'What about the gig bag, the strap, etc that the guitar comes with?' Tried to tell me 'Oh those are extra, but I can throw in this package for you'. **** that came boxed from the Fender factory IN the gig bag with all that shit in it and you're trying to pull that on me? Better cut some cash off for that stupidity..

i rarely feel good about buying anything at Guitar Center. usually it's more like i managed to escape

TBH I just wanted to get that kit out, it's been something I've worked on for some time now, there really was no plan or intention to squeeze an extra couple of quid out of people, I simply release stuff the moment it is ready, with a 20% or 25% launch offer for a few days.

But I'm very happy to credit the £2.50 difference that you'd have saved by waiting for black friday, let me know if there's anything you want to get in the current sale and I'll sort it all out for you.

Guessing this link will work for everybody. Seems to be an extra tenner off those that are in the deal. There are more items than the few shown on the homepage when it was announced the day the sales started a couple of weeks ago.

I presumed it was just poor timing I know you wouldn't have planned it. If there's one thing I've learnt from this site, it's that you are more trustworthy and reliable than akai itself

I always think of your expansions as "official" and are usually much better than the usual bland stuff akai peddles.

That's also my point of view after getting the the 25% discount "only". My only wish for future releases: More techno (midi files)...
