Help!! Samples cutting off in playback

Hi ive spent hours trying to trouble shoot this to no avail.
Simple issue any sample which is longer than half a bar cuts off when in playback mode.

This issue is not sample specific or pad, or programme specific.

Bizarrely though when the track is solo's the full sample plays.

They are set to poly, no track mutes, no automation and nothing odd in list mode.

I loaded up a completely different track and there was no issue, so it is track specific. But I'm absolutely stuck.

Anyone able to save the day?

are you sequencing anything else that might be triggering the same MIDI note values that are assigned to the pads that are getting choked off (it's a known, long-standing, as yet apparently unfixed bug in the MPC firmware)

No unfortunately not, I've recorded new samples.

when it plays back I watch it on sample edit mode and i actually see it looping early. But not when in solo mode.

Just for info this effects all existing (which ay one point triggered perfectly fine) and newly recorded samples over a certain length no matter where they are bar wise, and what track they are......the samples now just finish early. But when track is solo'dthey play fine.

Each sample is poly and no mute tracks.

Have you maybe reached the limit of polyphony? This has happened to me a few times in very busy tracks and in each case the longest sample gets sacrificed in favour of shorter ones (there’s still no way of seeing the polyphony in action or prioritising voices as there was on earlier models)

I do have some key tracks on the go, and some not used. What's the best way to delete them? I will give that a try next.

Do you have any active tracks using the same MIDI channel?

Not that I can see

Try deleting everything on the track but the note data - like Channel Pressure.

Make sure no other track is sending it's MIDI data into that track, which may be why it plays fine when you solo it.

Try either deleting all other tracks & hear if it's plays fine or save the track by its self & load it into another project & hear if its plays OK.

You can even try copying the note data to a track that play good & hear if that fixes it.

Make sure no pad within the that program is triggering any other pad in the same program (Simultaneous Play found in the first window of the Drum Program editor) - tho, setting the program to Poly & the Pads to Poly should allow for pads to play on top of each other.

At the moment I'm just working around I.e cutting up longer samples even if continuos in sound.

What is rhe best way to delete key tracks that I've loaded but not used so completely out of polyphony count.

I tried purge but didn't seem to do anything.
