Non-Program Effects Automation

How do I create and edit automation for Effects loaded as Inserts into Subgroups, Returns and Outputs?

You simply cannot do that. PERIOD.

The AKAI Force can, the AKAI MPC LIVE/X/One/+/ley cannot have automations on the master, submixes or returns.

I suggest you contact AKAI customer service and demand they allow automation on the former.

Makes my external sequencer even more needed! I actually initially bought it because working with automation live on the MPC is a pain generally (muting single lanes isn't possible, deleting takes quite a lot of menu diving, quick changes on the fly are hard, too easy to record over multiple lanes by accident (either noisy controller pots/faders or just vibrational movement of them.)

If I was composing, rather than trying to get something working live, this would definitely be a game changer for me though!

But definitely sounds worth multiple people requesting! I've got a few actual bugs I feel I need to lock down steps to create, write up and send to them though. Even if the bug I reported over 6 months ago still seems to be the only open issue they currently admit to having.....
