Thanks Tutor for the rapid responses.

You also have been one of THE ROCKS in my MPC baby steps starting from when I had the MPC2000XL 2 GB Hard Drives; back when I worked for Guitar Center and I purchased the first MPC1000 that came to our store in Atlanta Ga.

What would I be with out this site? :worthy:

I love ALL of ya'll man.
I told all my customers about this place; so I guess I gave back, because our GC was the busiest besides Hollywood California.

Surely delete the video and re-upload a version that doesn't claim a free Mini D update?

To clarify, there is no MINI D update in this release.

He must be drinking saki :o .. he lives in Japan and I will say owning all but 3 plugns from Air/ akai it does get over whelming without a nice category listing of devices.. I like his content it may not have deep details but he is pretty good..

I feel like this update has so much more than bug fixes... like effects on how it generally sound
from the first firmware to 2.12.2 always putting a compressor on output made it sound so much better (as all of them sound kinda more together and one) and vintage effect on preference always made the mix sound worse and more dull and unnatural compare to the way it sounded before.
but now it's like putting a comp on output always make it sound worse as it sounds so much better without it (with same dbs ) and the vintage effects on preference make it so much better than the original
I made 6 beats from yesterday and I felt these two things about all of them
does anybody else have these feelings? I could totally be tripping tho but I felt that every time with this firmware and somehow I sense it is more round than the other beats I made with other firmwares

I'm sorry to say, but you are tripping, the mind is a powerful thing.

If they were to improve the existing vintage FX (highly unlikely BTW), or any other FX, you can be 100% certain that they would have announced this across every nook and cranny of social media, as well as in the release notes. When they only put the one line 'bug fixes and stability', you can just assume it's a few minor bugs that probably were only noticed by a limited number of users.

To add a little perspective on the vintage FX, back at NAMM 2013 (after adding the SP1200 'ring' which is just a re-branded Decimator plugin) they promised (to paraphrase) 'many more additional vintage sampler emulations' in the future. 10 years later, still nothing, so I think it's safe to assume they consider the vintage FX feature done and dusted.

I suspect if we were to see any further vintage FX releases, they would likely only be in 'premium' plugin format.

the they would have announced this across every nook and cranny of social media fully convinced me
but they did updates with general sound change before in other firmwares, I remember reading something like the zero amp envelop in drum programs are response faster now so it's punchier or something like that on user guide of some update it could be something like that, in sum I have good feelings about this update

He ain't got the views to be money like off of YouTube. He needs to remove it & stick to the facts. I still can't get over him calling the MPC 500 the JJ killer & hated on JJ for hacking Akai's software. :WTF: I think he deleted that video. He like an older Ave, some times he got some dope tips, some times he be talking some crazy sh*t :Sigh:
