MPC 2 Software Drum Prorgrams Note Map

Is it possible to adjust the note map (pad assignments) on the PC software like you can on the MPC? I use C-2 Chromatic as it makes it much easier to use with my external sequencer, plus you can do octave shifts to change kits. Would have though you would enable Pad Perform but that section is all greyed out. Was thinking it would be good to build some kits there were sample navigation is easier...

I don’t understand the pad perform reference? Why would you need pad perform for a drum kit, there’s no melodic elements
