I just picked up one of these effects boxes dirt cheap, and I'd like to try controlling via Bluetooth MIDI from the MPC (Live, original). But when I go to the Bluetooth screen on my MPC, and activate Bluetooth... no devices show at all, including the H9. I don't have any other Bluetooth devices to test this with (other than headphones). Is there some magic thing I must do to make Bluetooth work, or is this connection not gonna work? (The H9 does have MIDI over Bluetooth, and it is turned on.)

Pretty sure the BT support is really just keyboards and maybe midi keys. The H9 profile might not be liked by Akai.

Yep. limited typing kybd (most special and all non-standard characters are greyed out).
BT midi works.
No audio.
No headphones.
BT Midi has latency.
Online vids of people connecting BT MIDI with MPC Live/2.

I can connect MPC X to iPad Air w/o problems, as quick to connect as any phone, etc.

I CANNOT connect MPC Key61 to iPad Air. For whatever reason KEY61 doesn't show up on other device BT screens for pairing.

Eventide, IDK.
