MPC key 61 vs Roland Fantom 06 : In sounds/patches sense

Hi Peeps,
I am zeroing on MPC Keys or Roland Fantom06. Am afraid of the the sounds/patches support from Akai vs Roland.
Also appreciate your feedabck on MPC Keys as a Gigging keyboard - can you point me to any videos showing easy scene creation and one-click setup.

The sounds on the mpc key leave ALOT to be desired. I have only had mine for 2months and I’m already looking to trade it for the fantom 06.

I think the Akai has a better sequencer and sampler. But for sounds, Roland is better. My cheap Juno ds 61 has MUCH better sounds than the mpc key!!

In fairness to akai. I don’t think gigging is the strong point of the mpc key. I made the mistake of thinking id be able to gig with it.

It sounds like you’re asking about it as a potential gigging keyboard. In my experience it’s not good for that! AT ALL

I'd go with Roland now that they've implemented their new online sounds thing. You're never going to have access to over 10,000 sounds on an MPC unless you're making you're own.
