I'm having some major problems with my MPC Live 2 Midi Control and was wondering if I'm either doing something obviously wrong or whether this is a bug that others have experienced?
I have an MPK mini 3 and want knob 1 to control the filter on Synth A (Midi001) and knob 2 to control the filter on Synth B (Midi002). It took a while to figure it out but I got the first part working. Turn knob 1 and the filter on Synth A changes. This is great... however there are two problems:
1) if I change the MPC Track to Track 2 (Midi002) the CC output starts being routed to Midi002 despite clearly showing as Midi001 on the Midi Control setup (this can be seen on the Midi Monitor)
2) If I try to setup the second Midi Control (knob 2 sending CC data to Midi002) the MPC starts outputting CC commands like crazy from nowhere (I thought maybe there was a feedback look coming back from one of the synths but looking at the Midi monitor there's nothing coming in, it's just all going out) this leads to either the MPC crashing, the Synth freezing or both.
Ideally I'd like to get a Launch Control or similar and would like to connect 32+ Midi Control outputs up across both the MPC and five synths but really need to understand what's happening.
If anybody has any advice / experience on this it would be great to hear it!
