I signed up for the free Splice trial when I got this thing (MPC Live, v 2.12) a couple years ago; set the Splice directory to my SSD, and merrily downloaded a metric buttload of samples. I had access to them for a long while, have not looked at them in a year o so, and today when I went to find some, the Splice icon in the Content browser is empty. My files are there, I can see them from my PC, but I cannot access them the usual way. Also, the option for setting a Splice directory is no longer available anywhere in the Preferences screen.

Is this something new? I can reorganize all my files, of course, but what a pain.

Just wondering if you resolved this issue. I'm in the same boat as you. I did the free Splice membership and downloaded the files to my MPC external SSD drive. No sound...nothing. I did backup all the files to an SD card and tried loading the sounds. It seems that when I installed the files to the internal drive the sounds worked. My dilemma is that I don't want to keep them on the internal drive because there's only 3 GB of storage left. Not sure what to do?
