Hello,
I have an MPC Live 2. When I press record my clip gets deleted as you can see in the video.

Do you know why and how to fix it?

I'm using a plug-in track. The sequence is very long because I'm creating an evolving bed of sound with the OPx-4 plug for a track I'm working on.

Thanks for your help.

„Record“ is a destructive record for all armed tracks, „overdub“ is non-destructive. Don‘t know about clip mode though, but I guess this is similar.

Are you suggesting I should try using overdub instead?

Overdub means it will record on top of what there without erasing it, but this could lead to you having double notes.
