Is this a Live MK3???

Look at the red MPC in the image at the top of the page... It's not the MPC One+ because that model doesn't have buttons under the screen like the MPC in the image has. It looks like it has the layout of a Live but with the same hard buttons and red color like the One+.

That image isnt as expanded as the emailed version as well. If you look at the image on the emailed version there is actually buttons to the right of the q links, Which the live 2 does not have.

MPC Key 37 is likely the next model based on FCC filings, so this could account for the seemingly wider layout.

After watching the vid u linked I no longer believe it's a Live 3. Quite possibly a new MPC Keys model like others are saying.

My thoughts exactly - all function buttons moved to form a single row, directly under the screen to accommodate the keyboard.

Comparing it to the key 61, it doesn't look like a keyboard because on the 61 the keys are directly beneath the screen. The buttons would make it far too deep for a 37 key.
I'm probably wrong though as many of the keyboards in the past have had a lot of red on them (unfortunately)

Komplete Kontrol S have 8 q-links directly beneath the screen and it works (granted - it's not a touch screen but still works)

sounds like they're gonna just keep milking the current OS in shiny new boxes instead of doing a full refresh of the 2017 tech *sigh*

Ok say it is the Key 61 which I'm not a fan of at all if you have a mpc already with a midi keybaord.. what will it sell for having 24 less keys $999? Key 61 selling for $1499

Make since to get more to buy a smaller keyboard form factor just not what I want right now.. like all the updates tho..

If that’s the the k37, then I am wondering if the vertical size matches? Checking the label image on the page again the thing is exactly 15cm in height. The 7” screen Akai uses for the One+ is roughly 10cm in height (9.906cm). Then there’s like 2cm above the screen and like 3 cm below the screen. Makes it 15cm exactly. Wonder where the keys would fit. If that’s the k37, then either the id/label dimensions are wrong, they’re using a different screen size (but the length of that persons finger hint a 7” screen), the keys are left of the screen (feels weird) or it’s not the k37.

could be mini keys in which case the keys could still be under the screen
