Long situation short. I have 50 min recording on an ancient handheld digital recorder. For technical reasons and damage, this recording can only be taken off the recorder by sending the audio out through the headphone jack on the device. It will play it, but I can't send it file-wise.
I want to hook up the old device to MPC one + and send 50 mins of old precious audio into 3 samples of 16 mins, 16 mins, and 18mins. Then, combine them into one 50-minute project. Is this possible? No drums, no disco-pop, no fun of any kind, just a recording of someone talking. Can the MPC one + allow me to combine the samples into a continuous recording? Or even allow me to convert the samples into one 50-minute WAV file? I have no other line in jacked device. It is best to assume I am in a blank room with the MPC one + an old busted 2001 DM-1 handheld, and any chord you can imagine, but nothing else.
