As Tutor said, and I can confirm, the beta testers don't get shit for info. Whatever his mouth is running is completely fabricated by him.. The 'beta testers' don't know anything more than what Akai has already publicly put out on it, and the whole process is exactly like Tutor described. They don't even tell the 'beta testers' when they decide to release a build and testing is no longer needed.

Delayed isn't a bad thing.. to only test on Mac to me is good idea why have complains coming from both operating systems.. wouldn't you rather wait or have the native instruments approach to there komplete kontrol software.. I can wait when ever it's release its fine with me..

my point was wtf did akai even anounce if the shit was not ready to roll; clown world shit, better to get they shit together then announce

I think the main problem is why the beta tester said anything I though that was a reason to be a beta test anything share with the vendor... not a bug fan of Ave he just likes everything and half of it is click bait..

But I do struggle with the idea that anyone wants to watch 3.5 hours of this type of thing, regardless of which MPC influencer made it. I mean, yes, 3.5 hours watching DJ Shadow giving insights into his production technique and career, or 3.5 hours listening to a great political mind of the 21st century.

I guess hedidn't get any free gear and he's bored.. what a clown

forums have so much vitriol towards influencers; i notice the same sentiment on other production forums; i get why. but people should bare in mind that influencers are targeting content at newbies and casuals for the most part.

They are not targeting long term hobbyists or pro/semi-pro artists/producers, so most forums dwellers have a higher threshold for what content is deemed useful

The problem is, the companies are now pandering to the newbies and casuals, and the people that actually need these to work like they always have, who don't give a shit what influencers are paid to tell people, are getting stuck with dumbed down half-ass tools, just so Akai can make an extra dollar off your grandma who decided she wants to make beats now.

Is it just me or does every MPC influencer have to have the most punch-able faces on the internet? Is that part of the requirements?

I can understand watching reviews, tutorials, beat making vids etc. But seriously, over 3,000 actual people watched this live. :Sigh:

No joke, I've heard numerous times having a stupid face in your thumbnail is literally a requirement for YouTube to promote your videos. Don't hate the player, hate the game I guess lol

It's where this meme was birthed from and it's only gotten more true:

i had the denon dj prime 4+ -- i was going to start djin' but realized i didnt have time so i sold it, but i had the stems firmware. we kinda were in effect beta testers as inmusic only released it for the prime 4+ at that time. doing stems standalone is amazing and the firmware was not that bad. you put a little small room reverb on the vocal and spin in another beat -- it was fire. no doubt when this comes to the mpc it will be nice. i see some of yall are beta testers so thats kool and the gang! i saw the "malo beats" (sp?) dude show it off and it was brilliant.
