finally understanding subgroups/returns

so i wonder, is there any way to sen an dry wet signal of an exrernal source (maybe a distoriton pedal) router through the ext ins and outs?

also, ano docol submix/routing tricks in general? ill mosly be doing playback with heavily effected microphone, using qlinks for anipulation. i have nanocontrolmk2 from korg but it crashes the mpc, and kida sucks anyway. just with we could you extra 4x4 qlinks for every mpc!

well, it is pretty much documented how midi controllers can crash the mpc in general. i have a nano mk2 as well and it gave me some troubles in different situations, i was never able to understand what was causing the freezing in particular... my nanokontrol setup was pretty basic, just a bunch of midi cc's and some notes mapped on buttons...
