Can now have the MPC auto load a project when booting up in standalone.

MPC Key 61/37 now have a 'chord' function that transposes a chord across the keyboard.

Can download synth content direct to the internal drive (like we need even more options for content filling up the internal disk and causing issues...)

REDO button now fully bright to indicate if a redo step is available.

According to Akai's release notes (https://www.akaipro.com/mpc-release-notes) they stop mentioning the bug at 2.12.1.

That damn bug is still there on Force OS 3.30 & I don't think they fixed on the MPC yet since they would've mentioned it in the new OS 2.13.

This bug made transferring old beats from the MPC2500 to the Force wayyyyyyyyy more tedious & time consuming then it needed to be.
:smh: :WTF:  :x

And why is samplekings video 10+min long with the first 7+mins of just talking, searching for and then installing the update? WHY?

After updating I RESET PREFS. I went thru every prefs menu.

Prefs, General, all the way at the bottom, make sure to UNCHECK...... "Collect Usage Statistics" is what I did.

MPC 2.13 Firmware Update
On standalone you can now set a project to be automatically loaded after startup. To set an auto load project, go to Preferences > Project Load/Save and use the Auto Load File field. To clear it, tap the X button.
If the Preferences > Project Defaults > New Project Dialog is set to Off then the project will be loaded on startup.
If the preference is not set to Off, then choosing Empty Project from that dialog on startup will result in the following:
If there’s an auto load project, MPC will load the auto load project.
If there’s no auto load project, MPC will create an empty project.
If there’s an auto load project, hold SHIFT and press Empty Project, to bypass the autoload and create an empty project.
This works, yep.

MPC Key 61 and Key 37 now have a chord function.
Play a chord on the keybed and then press SHIFT + LATCH to enter Chord Mode. Now any key pressed on the keyboard plays the learned chord shape transposed to the pressed note. Note the first note pressed in a chord is the ‘home’ note with respect to the transposition.
This works as stated, very nice and I can see me using this, BUT, I prefer to turn off timing and stagger chord notes naturally. This is PRECISE so you might find yourself going to grid edit and nudging each note back/forth. Depends on what you like of course.

The shift state of the UNDO button, REDO, now has clearer visual feedback. Whilst holding SHIFT:
If you can redo an operation, the button is lit full bright.
If you cannot redo an operation, the button is lit dim.
This works on X and Key61 and I like it. A visual indicator.

Tested not working on a MPC One with external keyboard - it only brings up the arp, as in the previous version. I guess I should have read the "MPC Key 61 and Key 37" part twice !

seem like over the past year the prime focus has been flogging new hardware; but now the hardware releases are out the way hopefully we will see some significant software progress, and stems is first up, but they really need to get this 3.0 out.

I don’t think there will be a 3.0 for some time, now that they have started adding paid for functions, these will come at every point iteration, there’s another 87 iterations to go.
The stems function will almost certainly be a success.
Also remember that the step from 1.9 to 2.0 only included a gui colour change and audio tracks.
