I like to use quotes from films myself. But it can be difficult getting clean results for me at least.

so using STEMS maybe i don't need to revert anymore to
demux the movie (split into audio & video)
rip the audio file to wav (all 5 or 6 channels separately!)
open all these chapters (like 20 chapters in a regular movie times 5 or 6 channels) in WL pro
listen to all wavs and cut as needed

-the big advantage in using above method is you get quality wavs, 48Khz 24bit minimum as source (multi channel audio)

Nope. People just don’t know any better. Its formal product name is “MPC Stems” according to the official page (though Akai even capitalizes the entire thing at the end).

If you ever bought sample packs they sell them with stem separation it would be nice to use it in one box in standalone..

Like he told me awhile back, he doesn't care about grammar, so I wouldn't look to deep into his "strange" way of writing.

All this talk about 3.0. Just to get the Arranger & Force mixer view. They don't need to wait for 3.0 to include those features so why not just asks for those features?

I hope they do it just so we don't have hear about it....but then, it would be 4.0 turn.

He knows nothing more than anyone else, it's getting embarrassing now. This desperation to appear informed and to tell people what they want to hear. I take it he's not a beta or alpha tester right?

Separately, does anyone really want Akai to do a 'complete overhaul' of the MPC firmware? You do realise that means that we'll be starting afresh with hundreds of new bugs and half baked features. They have'nt fixed all the existing bugs yet, nor finished off any of the current features, and you want them to effectively start again with a whole bunch of new coding? Who seriously wants that?

I think he knows more cos he has direct contact with andy mac i seen vids of andy mac coming to his studio.

maybe he is not informed on when the 3.0 is due to be released, but at least he was able to confirm that its in the development pipeline.

maybe starting afresh will alow them to negate the previous bugs, maybe the new code will be more optimised if they have learned from the current software version how to negate certain issues, but i see the current version as a finished product it works well for most features.
