Moving files from one drive to another within the MPC

My SD card was starting to run low on memory so I started using a thumb drive.

If I download a sample to the the thumb drive, is there a way to move it to the thumb drive? I know if I use it in a project and save the project to the thumb drive the project will also be there. But can I just move it from the the SD to a folder in the thumb drive?

I tried searching.

Nope. you need to be in controller mode and do it through the desktop

The browser should definitely allow users to perform simple file operations. Kinda puzzled why a basic feature like that is missing. AKAI PLZ...

The simple solution is to open projects, save them to the usb drive, then delete them from the SD storage. Effectively, you just moved them. The MPC will allow you to do that without any external gear.

Are you saving to the factory SD or the one you put in?

OMG. Just reading this AFTER running low on space and installing a second drive. Took me a couple of hours to load and save all projects out to another drive!!

This is ridiculous that the only way to clean up local drive is to save projects as and delete. +1 to a move function!!
