MPC Live 2 as midi / audio interface

Is it possible to use the Live 2 as and audio/midi interface with e.g Ableton?

I have tried hooking it up to my nac vua USB but it doesn't appear in the preferences in Ableton

No, it cannot. Only the MPC Key37 can be used as a USB MIDI interface. Other models can send and receive MIDI via Wifi/Ethernet through Akai Network MIDI.
