MOTU hybrid audio interfaces users BEWARE of last update!

i want to share this so you can avoid the nightmarish situation i'm in at the moment...
today i updated the mpc and its software on my recently acquired mac mini m2.
everything seemd fine but... my motu ultralite mk3 hybrid totally stopped working.
i tried everything humanly possible but no way. i had to uninstall all mpc stuff and uninstall manually all motu stuff, re install only the motu stuff and it started working again but with a lot of issues. i opened a ticket with motu , i sincerely hope they will help me restore my motu functionalities. of course i will not reinstall the mpc software given the situation... so please be careful if you have an old hybrid motu, do a time machine backup of your system before installing recent mpc stuff and drivers.

UPDATE: i solved it uninstalling and cleaning all up again , updating to Sonoma, reinstalling the mpc software and drivers FIRST, then installing the motu drivers again. now all seems to work flawlessly.

Keep in mind, you're lucky it works at all.

MOTU's class compliance only extends to MacOS and iOS, it doesn't even work on Windows, and nowhere do they support running them on Linux.

Motu828es works great on win11 I have no problems..
