Hello, I'm a new MPC user here. And I ran into an issue. Hoping someone here may be able to help me or provide some sort of guidance.
I'm making a song that is using a chopped sample. I'm using only one sequence right now. I have track 1 recorded for the chopped sample. track 2 for the drums, and then I wanted to do track 3 for a synth.
Every time I added a new track I made sure to add a new program as well.
The problem is, during playback and over dub when I highlight the synth plugin that I want to add to the song, The synth automatically plays random notes from the pad on its own. Its like something else in the background is triggering the synth sounds from the pad out of my control. I cant even properly add my own notes. So I tried deleting the pads that were making the sounds, it didn't fix much because sounds were still playing even after deleting the notes from the pad. This didn't happen when I went to add my drums so I'm not sure what's triggering my mpc to make those sounds during playback/ over dub when im trying to use a synth.
If anyone has any clue as to what it might be, any input would be appreciated
