Mpc Live2 and Force

Hi y'all. Probably seems like overkill but I have a chance on a good deal to buy a Force.
Anyone out there use a Force with their Live 2?
If so do you link them together?
How?
By ethernet or
By usb
Or via din midi?
Which is master and which is slave - if it works like that?

I own both but I would not use them together mostly because I don't see the point. If you were to connect them, you'd do so via midi with one transmitting clock and the other just receiving clock.

You may want to make the MPC the master snice the Force can't do tempo changes/automations. Together you'll have 16 audio tracks & 16 plugins, all of the Force macros which is way better, disk-streaming. You'll have to decide which 1 you want as your main sequencer. I highly prefer the Force clip-based seq over the MPC.
