RS-16X registration code?

Hi all,

I want to use the RS-16X software to make PGM files on my computer, but the developer seems to be out of business, so once the demo period ends I will be locked out of the software.

Is anyone who bought this back in the day willing to post their registration code as a service to the community. There are very few apps, or rather none besides this one, that run on a modern mac. I'd buy the software in a minute but the server is no longer there.

Or if someone has alternative software I'm all ears.

I doubt anybody is going to set you up with a code, even if it is abandonware... posts explaining how to get hacked software, license trading, and such tend to get reported and taken down quickly.

Have you tried to see if you can e-mail the creator or anything?

Yes, I've emailed him. I think he may be deceased.

Hello there, I'm having the same issue. Is there any update on Seishu Murakami? or, is there any other type of software that allows communication with the MPC3000?
I'm happy to buy the product but there is no way to do so. I'd be also happy to "share" the cost if someone has already a serial key?

I bought it years ago and its still in my app store but there is no license ist connected to my apple id.

After doing a bit of investigation trying to track Seishu Murakami, I’ve come across his obituary. Sadly he has passed away beginning of 2023. It is now impossible to buy RS-16X… I’m also looking at trying to find a license key or someone who would be willing to share in exchange of $$.

I figured out a solution. SSworks has an old program for Mac OS 9 called "MPC Pgm Maker" and you can download it here https://web.archive.org/web/20070305080 ... maker.html

Since this program can't run on a modern mac, you'll have to install the program on a Mac OS 9 emulator which can be downloaded here https://mendelson.org/macos9osx.html

The software is a trial version and you can only make an MPC Bank for bank A. If someone still has a serial to the program, the capabilities can be extended.
