Hey fam, I'm sure youcan help me - I'm sure that I forgot something in my process:
I made a little beat on my MPC One, using internal plugin instruments, sampled drum sounds and external hardware synths. All Audio comes together into a Presonus StudioLive ar16c analog mixer.
After I arranged the sequences in song mode, I converted it into a new sequence, as usual.
Then I recorded the external synths all together on one audio track (just for a rough mix).
Then turned off the external synths so that only the MPC was left.
I listened to the rough mix a few times. Sometimes, when Istopped the playback, I could hear that the recorded audio track (the external synths) were still playing or playing randomly offbeat in the background. I double tapped "stop" so it stopped.
The cleared the song mode and made a new one by just using to earlier converted complete sequence there.
I checked by playing it: It was fine. I could also hear the audio track.
Then I made a audio mixdown on my sd card from there.
Afterwards I took the SD card and plugged it into my laptop to normalize it and convert it into MP3. There I could hear that at nearly the end of the track (also with the correct external synth audio track), the audio track was playing in the background again (twice) and again offbeat.
How can that happen? Did Imiss some steps when preparing the audio track within the MPC sequence?
Or should Iavoid audio tracks at all and always use the audio sample within a drum program (what I usually do with smaller parts).
