Hi everyone, new user here, I recently updated my MPC Live to 2.14 only to discover that incoming MIDI transport messages are broken in this update and it's a complete showstopper for my use case. I'm definitely rolling back to a previous version but I was wondering if anyone can share their experience with the version they're running currently and help me with finding the less buggy version I can use. What I do and don't care for:

DO CARE:
- MIDI stability. It's the #1 priority for me
- Sampling, Drum programs, Clip programs and Keygroups. I need them to be reliable as my live set relies heavily on those kind of programs
- Q-Link functionality. I need the project to save my settings for them

DON'T CARE:
- Synth plugins: I only my keygroups from my external synths
- FX Plugins: I don't necessarily need most of them, nice to have as much as I can without sacrificing anything in the previous paragraph
- Ableton Live Control/Controller mode: I use only standalone and occasionally export stems, nothing else

Can anyone help me? Thanks!

There's been some serious MIDI bugs since 2.9, publicly recognised by Akai since 2.12.2, but basically every version of the MPC firmware has something problematic in some area (not necessarily MIDI), so your best option is to simply try installing different firmwares and see which one you can live with.
