What pseudo multi band trick are you using in standalone?

Hello! MPC live 2 user, I'm trying to separate bass and medium/high with two different technics.

First is to dub program and tracks, that makes track mute a lil bit tricky but mute groups makes it simple.

Second is to send the program to two returns, then route the program to a unused output to me it.
Track mute is as usual and thats the reason why I've tried this one.

I'm using the same two stacks of filters in both technics.

I've noticed differences, really difficult for me to explain as perhaps it's kind of subjective and my English is quite minimal to express feelin, but they definitely don't sound the same way to my ears. I wonder if some of you have the same feeling and what technic are you using.

You can't edit it after an hour. I wish that wasn't the case or give us 24hrs.

I don't understand why this subject doesn't received more interest... I'll try on French social networks cause I'm about to think it's due to my faulty bad English...
