MPC Key - MPC X - MPC2

Hi all.

My account is old...but I'm still new to the MPC universe. Years ago I tried a MPC 2500. But it was too complex for me, so I sold the 2500. But now I'm back in that MPC universe and I like it a lot.

I have a question:

I have a MPC X and a MPC Key 61. The Key 61 comes with a lot of instruments. There is nearly everything on board. Both systems (the X and the MPC Key) are logged in with the same inmusic account.

First I thought: Nice. Now I can use all these nice instruments from the MPC Key in my MPC X and of course in the Software MPC 2.

But in all 3 systems there are different plugs/instruments activated. With the X I don't have access to the instruments from the Key 61. Is that right? Or a kind of mistake in my system?

Thats so confusing. I'm not sure if everything is working correctly. These license system seems very bad/strange.

You have three licenses for the plugins that came with the Key 61. You can put them on the software and X. You’ll have to do the work to install and authorize them all. Expansions can be installed commonly among all three too. There’s nothing holding you up.

Yes, I use all the plugins that came with Keys on X. Everything is as RandomVibrations says.

I installed an ssd in both, I loaded synths/plugins there and pointed to them in PREFERENCES. I don’t the software, someone can speak on that.

Thanks for reply. Then there seems to be a mistake in the license system. I can install the different plugins but I can't acivate them correctly in my X. Only the trial mode works. I bought the OP-X yesterday seperatly; this plug is working correctly in all systems. It seems as I could have saved the money. I think I have to contact the AKAI support.

Just an update to my topic:

Today I got an answer from the InMusic support; they updated the licenses in my account and now I can use all the Plugs from the Key 61 on my MPC X. Looks like there was an error in the Licensemangementsystem. Again thanks for helping @Lampdog and @RandomVibration.
