Akai MFC 42 Mounting Kit (for MPC 60?)

Hi everyone,

(First post) I'm hoping some of you wonderful people can help/advise?

Does anyone know if the MFC 42 Mounting kit (brackets originally for the MPC2000 XL) will fit the MPC 60?

If so or if the mounting kit brackets can be adapted I'm after one (if anyone knows of any about)

never tried, but almost certain it will not fit.
The 60 is wider than the mfc42 (there is like 12cm difference +/-), where the 2K is actually the opposite (hence the curve going "outside" as you see on the mounting brackets)
the mfc is precisely of the size of a rack (19'').
so you basically need 6cm of correction on each side, bending the bracket that much is likely to break it. But again never tried. Mine is racked.

Perhaps a custom 3D print inspired by the design of this mounting kit ?

That's a great shout on the 3D printer - that hadn't crossed my mind - I'll look into that
I've got my 60 on a Quiklok wheely stand so I might be able to get some thing attached to that as another potential design option too.

@mood2swing - curious if you had a chance to pursue your custom mfc42 brackets idea? i don't own the mounting kit for the mfc (or own an mpc), but have tried to create a bunch of diy/wood/aluminum/etc solutions to mount an MFC42 to the Yamaha RS7000 and also a Pioneer dj DJM-v10 without much permanent success.
