possible harm by ants??

whuttup yall... my mpc has been acting really funny lately. it seems like its quantization or memory is off because ill lay a beat, and when it replays, its totally off key to the point where its not even close to what i did with it. a couple months ago i was usin it and ant ant crawled out from inside. im just wonderin if a couple ants crawling around inside could have messed my shti up. i was waiting to post, cuz i alwasys was hopin its me, but i am convinced that my mp is jacked.

what should i do???

Open it, take out the memory (do ground yourself when touching the memory) and then try if the MPC works fine without memory.
