It's written on the video thumbnail & said in the comments, that it's just for beta testers for now. So I doubt he's knows when it's coming out & even if he did, he most likely isn't able to tell us. This is just letting us know that work is being done.

Doubt it... i know for a fact that there are several peoples on this forum that actively participate in the conversations here (some of them practically on a daily basis). They're also on beta programme, have bigger "reach" and yet they have no "green light" from akai. This video was posted a week ago and nobody noticed it until he left a link to it here

I'd say reading comprehension isn't much of a priority considering they also seem to have difficulty spelling words like "beta" and "watching" - never mind the fact they also showed their full name and unit serial.

You know what, though? Akai is a clown show and this dude's video jumped a few hundred views in a few hours, so it's definitely a case of awful everything.

I was just giving a possibility. We don't know if that was even his MPC. How something like that would work wouldn't be hard to do if that’s what they wanted. In a way using someone unknown to leak something would make more sense. I wish the dude could spell tho. What the hell is "beata"

on the second thought - firmware has no validation as to which specific MPC it may run on, so he could as well get a firmware from someone else and install it on his own / "burner" mpc

What the last add -on that came out for the force ? A few the last ones specifically said not for the force in the release notes.
